As in other RPG titles, Luke will meet people along the way including Mieu and Jade who will join your party and provide back-up during squabbles. Luke can charge-up normal actions to become super assaults by using moves that require the primary Fonon found within that environment. The land is full of subatomic particles created from such elements as light, dark, air, earth, fire, and water called Fonons, and the protagonist can master the make-up of a particular area by using attacks that are based in one of six particles. Luke can roam freely through his environment, uncovering treasure chests, magical items, and enemies to increase his skills as a fighter, and sorcerer. Shattering your solitude, a girl named Tear breaks into the castle and the two of you are transported far from the safety of your family home.
